Time Attack 2020 gets set for blast off at Oulton Park on 11th July!
It’s been a long time coming for everyone involved with motorsport, but we are delighted to be returning to the tracks 11 days after the national embargo on activities have been lifted.
Because we are currently living in a time of restrictions, it will come as no surprise that the event will look and feel a little different, with safeguarding measures, practices and procedures in place. This includes no on-the-day scrutineering, signing-on or drivers’ briefing. Instead, this will be carried out remotely and require the filling in of a declaration form that will be forwarded to registered competitors.
Further information about the control and mitigation of risk from the Coronavirus can be found in section 19 of the Supplementary Event Regulations that can be downloaded below.
All competitors who are registered for the season or have entered this meeting on a single-round basis or as a Run What You Brung competitor, will automatically receive Final Instructions and further information relating to the event.
For those that haven’t entered and are intending to join us, we invite you to do so ASAP. Because of the restrictions in place and the new procedures that are having to be adopted, entries received after 1st July WILL NOT be accepted.
For competitors with race cars who want to get out on track – especially those planning ot compete at the following weekend’s BRSCC meeting – we have introduced an Invitation Class that will see four timed open pit lane sessions during the day.
