Wössner UK confirms increased partner package for 2023 to include Time Attack, Motorsport UK Drift Pro and Racing Hondas Championships
Having teamed up to create a successful association with Time Attack and the Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championships in 2022, organisers are delighted to announce an extended partnership with high performance piston supplier Wössner UK for 2023 that now includes the brand-new Racing Hondas Championship.
This increased involvement will see the globally known manufacturer of market-leading engine components generate an even greater presence at events and increase the exposure of its already-established high-profile brand. The association will also allow Wössner to promote its range of products in front of the continually evolving and expanding performance tuning aftermarket sector, as well as competitors, engine tuners and the public as a whole.
“We teamed up with Time Attack and the Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship for the first time in 2022 and were very happy with the way the association worked for us”, explains director of Wössner’s UK operation David Wheeler.
“We are therefore pleased to be able to extend our involvement into 2023 and add the new Racing Hondas Championship to the portfolio. It comes at a time when we are looking to promote our lines of Honda components and therefore, by supporting all three championships and having a presence at the shows that are an integral part of the motorsport events, we are looking forward to an even more high profile and successful season.”
Championship owner Andy Barnes commented: “We are delighted that Wössner UK has agreed to expand its association with us, especially as our championship and events package is in the ascendancy. We see its involvement as a great fit for all involved.
“By using our long-standing connections in the motorsport and aftermarket tuning sectors, we are able to help promote brands towards these important target markets. Once again, we look forward to continuing our work with Wössner and helping the company to achieve its promotional and brand awareness goals in the UK.”
This year’s three-championship sponsorship package will see the Wössner identity carried on all competing cars and enable the company to establish a significant presence at each of the season’s large and well-attended events and shows.
The Wössner Group has been designing and manufacturing high performance pistons and con rods for cars, bikes and planes from its factory located in Weil am Rhein, Germany for more than 40 years. Its British operations took a significant step forward in 2020 when the company launched a new UK based facility.
